Terra nullius

Terra nullius is a Latin term that means “nobody’s land”. By “nobody” desettlers means somebody they turned into nobody to justify all sorts of evil shit. Therefore, It is a colonial concept that denies the existence, sovereignty, and rights of the Indigenous peoples who lived and cared for the land for generations. It is a legal fiction that justifies the invasion, occupation, and exploitation of the land and its resources by the colonizers. It is a violent erasure of the history, culture, and identity of the Indigenous peoples. It is a term that must be challenged and rejected by those who seek to decolonize the land and its relations.
